I just can't resist an antique quilt! Seriously I am drawn to them in every style & time period. When I purchased this antique beauty, it was made with circle templates and "y-seams". I just had to update it. Not being one for complicated piecing, I came up with a way to do these traditional blocks without using templates, circles or "y-seam", but instead using simple cutting!
I think the quilt looks stunning in this color combination, but would be romantic and beautiful in warm pink, cream or cinnamon brown or stricking with red and white combination or even this deisgn scrappy colors.
