Welcome! Linda Everhart, specializing as a pattern designer, travels nationally and internationally giving lectures & programs, along with teaching workshops for special groups, quilt guilds, quilt retreats, and cruises. One look at her breathtaking quilts and you'll want to take a workshop. It is sew-easy! The Lord has given Linda the gift of a wonderful technique, FUSIQUE®, (fused reverse appliqué) which enables her to painlessly make quilts. No more turned under appliqué! Assemble the top before taking one stitch! Instructions and tips are included in each of her patterns. It is a joy to make quilts using this easy and amazing method! Linda successfully launched her business Among Friends patterns using her innovative technique trademarked as FUSIQUE®, at International Quilt Market & Festival in Houston 2001. In 2003 she designed Mr. Quilt Police® as her new protector of quilts & fabric stash! Returning home from International Quilt Festival 2002, her loaded van and 16 quilts was stolen in Dallas. Each 2003 & 2004 design includes white fabric which remained in the van when it was found empty. That's taking what God gives her and making the best of what she has! Major accomplishments include taping Simply Quilts with Alex Anderson on HGTV. Linda demonstrates how to make her Uncle Sam quilt using Linda's God Bless America pattern. Watch the video of Simply Quilts on Linda’s video page. Linda was a featured teacher in Quilting Professional Feb 2004 and a national educator at the Vacuum and Sewing Dealers Trade Association (VDTA/SDTA) 2003 show. She was honored with VIP treatment when teaching in Ireland, Wales and England. Her quilt Shazam was featured on the cover of Quilts and Other Comforts. Quilter's World Oct. 2003 featured a pattern with Linda's method. Craftrends featured her pattern Sweet Remembrance and 2007 Magic Patch presented a portrait of Linda. In 2005 Linda taped a PBS show called Kaye's Quilting Friends on her pattern Victorian Elegance. Quilters Newsletter featured a workshop utilizing Linda's technique in their June/July 2013 issue.
